NHS Bradford District - Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews (CETR)

A statutory NHS review to help keep children with a learning disability or autism out of hospital, or get them home sooner.

Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews (CETRs) are a statutory NHS process for children and young people with a learning disability and/or autism who are in, or at risk of being admitted to, a mental health or learning disability hospital. An independent panel reviews their care to avoid unnecessary hospital admission.

Get your child added to the Dynamic Support Register

The Dynamic Support Register (DSR) lists children and young people with a learning disability and/or autism and the most complex needs, who are at risk of admission to a mental health hospital, so services can respond early and help them stay well at home. It works alongside Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews.

Request a Care, Education and Treatment Review to avoid hospital admission

If your child has a learning disability and/or autism and is at risk of admission to a mental health or learning disability hospital (or is already in one), a CETR brings together an independent panel to check the right care and support is in place.
