Get specialist NHS dental care for additional needs or dental anxiety

Get specialist NHS dental care if you have a learning disability, a physical or communication difficulty, behaviour needs, or feel very anxious about the dentist. A health, education or social care professional must refer you.

Specialist-led NHS dental care for children and adult special care patients with moderate/severe learning disabilities, physical or communication impairment, behavioural problems, or severe dental anxiety/phobia - referral needed from a health, education or social care professional.

Runs from six clinics across Calderdale and Kirklees. Calderdale clinics: St Johns Health Centre (Lightowler Road, Halifax) and Todmorden Health Centre (Lower George Street, Todmorden). Phone line open 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
