Get 10-week family support for self-harm (FLASH)
Changing Our Direction runs the FLASH programme (Families Learning About Self Harm) - a 10-week workshop helping parents/carers build communication skills and strategies to manage self-harm within the family.
Get short-term support for autism-related anxiety (WASP)
The Wakefield Awareness Support Project supports 5-18 year olds with anxiety and low mood linked to autism or neurodevelopmental conditions - up to 12 weeks of group work and individual support, via professional referral. Requires Wakefield residency and GP registration.
Get support for your 4-10 year old's challenging behaviour (WEBSS)
The Wakefield Early Behaviour Support Service gives parents/carers practical, intensive support to understand their child's needs and feel more confident supporting them at home - no diagnosis needed.
